Fluor seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support construction efforts on large substations and line projects, providing technical support to craft and supervision and ensuring quality requirements are met.

The role requires a 10-year HV experience, ability to interpret design documents, and coordination with design engineers to maintain timely information flow; fluency in implementing quality programs is essential.

Competenze

• Electrical engineering degree with ten years of work experience in substation and line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in mining projects.
• Ability to interpret design documents for construction managers and contractors.
• Willingness to learn and apply local, state/provincial, and national guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and time-conscious work.
• Preferred: Construction Management degree or global equivalent.

Mansioni

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and supervision with construction-related issues from drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for project teams.
• Coordinate the project quality program when the quality function is the responsibility of the construction engineering department; report the status of functions performed by the construction engineering department to project management.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer to ensure the timely flow of design documents and information.
• Participate in Fluor University; escalate issues as necessary to the Construction Engineering Manager.
• Other duties as assigned
