Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Unified Detection team in Córdoba, Argentina. You’ll help build and deploy large-scale threat-detection services, writing clean, well-tested code and taking ownership of features.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4+ years of experience developing software, with growing proficiency in Python or Golang.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (AWS, Azure or similar), and containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with observability or monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, or similar), preferred.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, secure coding foundations, and automated testing practices.
• Curiosity about cybersecurity, malware analysis, or threat detection is a bonus.
