Qdrant, a remote-first open-source vector search platform, is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure to own automation and internal systems powering Qdrant Cloud at scale.

You will build tools, design provisioning and lifecycle automation, and improve Kubernetes controllers, contributing to reliability, scalability, and observability.

This fully remote role is restricted to candidates in the Americas, with flexible hours and an async-friendly culture.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure software development.
• Strong programming skills in Go and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience building automation and tooling for cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable participating in on-call rotations.

Responsabilidades

• Build internal tools and services powering Qdrant Cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation and platform components using Go and Python.
• Design systems for cluster provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Improve Kubernetes automation via controllers and operators.
• Reduce operational toil by automating manual infrastructure work.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of the cloud platform.
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams on architecture and automation.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident improvements.
• Continuously enhance the internal platform used to operate Qdrant Cloud.
