Softgic seeks a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations to lead a team of engineers responsible for supporting and evolving mission-critical production environments. The role blends people leadership with hands-on technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, Azure, automation, and security.

You will guide cloud migrations, DR planning, capacity, and cross-team collaboration with Development, Architecture, and PM groups.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, or production support.
• 5+ years in technical leadership or management.
• Proven experience mentoring infrastructure teams.
• Hands-on experience in complex Azure environments.
• Experience with cloud assessments, architecture/design, and migrations.
• Experience using automation for Azure migrations.
• Experience with Azure Site Recovery.
• Experience managing multiple Azure subscriptions and tenants.
• Strong knowledge of DR, HA, capacity planning.
• Experience with Docker and container tech.
• Automation/configuration tools: Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Scripting across Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Microsoft ecosystem.
• VMware virtualization knowledge.
• Data center infrastructure, security, and on-call readiness.
• SaaS infrastructure experience preferred.
• Documentation of topology, monitoring, and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a team of 3–6 infrastructure engineers.
• Provide technical leadership while actively driving projects.
• Oversee cloud assessments, design, migrations, and implementations.
• Support and optimize Azure environments.
• Lead infrastructure migrations into cloud environments.
• Manage multiple Azure subscriptions and tenants.
• Implement and support Azure Site Recovery and DR.
• Coach and mentor engineers; drive performance and career growth.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and service quality.
• Troubleshoot complex infra and app issues across tiers.
• Create documentation for topology, components, configurations, and procedures.
• Develop and test DR plans.
• Collaborate with MSPs, hosting providers, and external support.
• Lead capacity planning and infrastructure requirements.
• Support automation using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or equivalents.
• Support containerized environments (Docker).
• Develop automation across Windows and Linux.
• Ensure security and compliance in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Act as technical project lead for major infra initiatives.
• Evaluate new tech to improve reliability and scalability.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations.
