Caylent is seeking a Senior Software Architect to join our Cloud Native Applications team. You will work with engineers, architects, sales, and PMs to deliver AWS solutions for a diverse customer base. You’ll design, lead architecture discussions, and mentor peers while staying curious about new technologies.

The role emphasizes DevOps pipelines, IaC, security, and production-grade code. This fully remote, USD-pay environment offers generous holidays and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• 5+ years of proven software development and cloud-native systems experience.
• Strong background in scalable architectures and engineering practices.
• Experience with web tech and frameworks (HTML/CSS, React/Vue/Angular).
• Proficiency in server-side scripting (Python/Node.js/others).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and API integrations.
• Knowledge of modern architectures (microservices, event-driven).
• Hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP experience and IaC tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Lead agile ceremonies and coordinate with engineers, sales, and PMs.
• Translate requirements into actionable backlogs for engineers.
• Delegate tasks to a team to deliver cloud-native apps on AWS.
• Lead backlog grooming, architecture discussions, and design reviews.
• Apply DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and security.
• Troubleshoot issues across dev, test, and production environments.
• Write production-grade code with unit and integration tests.
• Communicate designs and processes clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor teammates and stay curious about new tech.
