Job summary

Chevron is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead chemical treatment and corrosion control in the El Trapial Field on rotating 7x7 schedules. Responsibilities include monitoring, reporting, and optimizing treatment strategies to improve reliability and cost performance.

The candidate will stay at the Chevron Camp during rotations and collaborate with O&M, Lab, and service providers. Required 5+ years in chemical treatment and corrosion control, a Bachelor's in Petroleum/Chemical/Industrial

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies.
Experience assessing and interpreting chemical treatment monitoring data and recommending changes.
Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

Design, manage, and implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies, including monitoring, inspections, and reports.
Provide technical assessment of monitoring data and recommend changes to corrosion strategies.
Serve as SME for water, oil, and gas treatment facilities to improve OE, production, reliability, and cost performance.
Lead OE execution with focus on safety and HSE standards.
Forecast operating costs and track facility improvements related to chemical products.
