SunnyData is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive value for clients. You will partner with clients to define business needs, craft data-driven architectures, and translate requirements into actionable specs for engineering teams.

You will analyze data, leverage SQL for validation, and utilize Tableau or Power BI for insights while guiding workshops and aligning stakeholders on project goals and ROI expectations.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or product development in Data and Analytics.
• Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis, validation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Tableau or Power BI for visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with APIs and data integration concepts.
• Understanding of data management, analytics, and AI technologies.
• Direct client-facing experience in a consulting or services setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specs.

As a Business Analyst, you ensure that both ongoing and upcoming work delivers business value to the client. Additionally, you confirm the technical delivery team has the essential resources, clear priorities, and requirements to succeed when they begin their participation in a project.

What We Look For

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or product development, ideally within Data and Analytics

• Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting

• Proficiency with visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

• Familiarity with APIs

• Understanding of data management, analytics, and AI technologies

• Direct client-facing experience in a consulting or professional services organization

• Skilled at facilitating workshops, managing conflict, and building consensus

• Experience translating business needs into functional and technical specifications

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Data-driven decision maker who quantifies business value and ROI

• Analytical thinker who can break down complex problems into actionable solutions

• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)

• Databricks certification (e.g., Data Analyst Associate)

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
