Job summary

Werben HR seeks an accomplished Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Core Systems) to own production infra spanning bare-metal, virtualization, containers, and cloud. You’ll design, build, troubleshoot, and operate Kubernetes at scale, driving architecture decisions and incident response.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in infrastructure roles, deep Linux expertise, and strong IaC/tuning skills for blockchain-related services. Expect 24/7 on-call rotation and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems administration fundamentals with OS-level production troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience administering bare-metal infrastructure in production, including provisioning and lifecycle.
• Deep production experience with Kubernetes: building, administering, troubleshooting, upgrading, and scaling clusters.
• Experience across hybrid environments spanning physical, virtualization, containers, and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of compute, networking, storage, virtualization, redundancy, scalability, and high availability.
• IaC and automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Experience with observability/monitoring platforms such as Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, Datadog.
• Strong incident response experience, root-cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Ability to own infrastructure design decisions and drive long-term remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production infrastructure across bare-metal, virtualized, containerized, and cloud environments.
• Build, administer, troubleshoot, and scale large Kubernetes environments supporting mission-critical workloads.
• Own infrastructure decisions from architecture through production operations and incident response.
• Provision, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, including compute, storage, networking, and OS layers.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, Consul, or similar technologies.
• Automate server provisioning, deployment, configuration, upgrades, and recurring workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across Linux, networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with Platform, CloudOps, and Technical Operations teams while maintaining ownership.
• Improve observability, capacity planning, reliability, and infrastructure performance.
• Lead and participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortems.
