Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese also required for LATAM collaboration.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Cloud, containers, and CI/CD experience across distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services powering Jeeves' financial platform across payments, cards, spend management and compliance.
• Write production-grade code in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript; participate in design and code reviews.
• Build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs; design inter-service communication with gRPC and queues.
• Ensure security best practices and observability across distributed services.
• Collaborate with global teams across time zones and languages.
