AppDirect, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our global platform. You will own backend services from development through production, collaborating with a skilled, DevOps–minded team.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (one day on-site per week, four days remote), 15 paid PTO days plus holidays, robust medical coverage, wellness reimbursements, English lessons, and opportunities to contribute to scalable systems used by millions.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong professional experience with Java/Spring Boot and Node.js/Next.js, as well as MongoDB and/or MySQL.
• Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, service development, testing, and integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container technologies, and automated testing practices.
• Demonstrated experience owning software systems over time, including operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, modernizing, and continuously improving existing applications in long-lived production environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a senior capacity, including collaborating with, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Track record of using AI development tools to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality, security, or maintainability.
• Fluency in English.
