Bechtel in Argentina seeks a seasoned Environmental Permit Manager to oversee obtaining and maintaining environmental permits for mining projects. You will ensure design and field activities comply with national and provincial rules, align with client standards, and coordinate with authorities.

You will liaise with engineering teams, regulators, and contractors to anticipate restrictions and maintain a compliant permit route that supports project schedules.

Qualifications

University degree in Electrical Engineering with professional registration.
10+ years in substation and line construction for mining projects.
High voltage experience on mining sectors is required.
Excellent communication with engineering, management and public agencies.
Proficient in English and Spanish; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage permit acquisition and maintenance for the project in Argentina.
Coordinate with engineering and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
Report status of environmental permits to project management.
Prepare and review environmental impact reports and updates.
Engage with stakeholders to mitigate regulatory risks.
