We work with distributed teams on complex technical challenges for cybersecurity-focused projects. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and improve the cloud infrastructure for a modern Identity Security platform.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar.
• Strong hands-on production experience with AWS.
• Strong experience managing Kubernetes clusters, ideally Amazon EKS.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Good scripting with Python and Bash.
• Experience with observability: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, ELK.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes, especially EKS.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Improve deployment processes and developer experience across teams.
• Manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and improve observability across systems and apps.
• Implement monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/ELK).
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Automate recurring operational tasks and optimize cloud costs.
