Darwoft is a Latin American software partner delivering high-impact digital products for international clients. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate the cloud platform behind a cybersecurity identity security product.

You will work with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools to improve reliability, security, and cost efficiency. This is a 100% remote LATAM contractor role with ownership over production infrastructure and close

Formación

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on production experience with AWS.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters, ideally Amazon EKS.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Good scripting and automation with Python and Bash.
• Experience implementing observability using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, ELK.
• Strong understanding of networking: VPCs, Subnets, Load Balancers, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, Routing, Security Groups.
• Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and production environments.
• Security best practices for cloud infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Create Terraform IaC for environments.
• Manage Kubernetes/EKS workloads.
• Develop automation for provisioning and deployment.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Improve deployment processes and developer experience.
• Ensure observability and security across systems.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Security for compliance and hardening.
• Optimize AWS costs and reliability.
