Job summary

Darwoft is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and scale our cloud infrastructure for a cybersecurity platform. You will work primarily with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools.

You’ll own production infrastructure, contribute to platform engineering, and collaborate across engineering, security, and IT to improve reliability, security, and cost efficiency in a 100% remote LATAM setup.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in DevOps or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong Kubernetes / EKS experience.
• Advanced Terraform / IaC experience.
• Docker and containerized environments experience.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Linux administration skills.
• Ansible experience.
• Scripting with Python and Bash.
• Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/ELK).
• Strong networking knowledge (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routing).
• Security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with high-availability, production-grade systems.
• Strong communication and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Create and maintain Terraform IaC.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads on Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.
• Develop automation for provisioning and deployment.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Improve deployment processes and developer experience.
• Manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design observability across infra and apps.
• Implement monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/ELK.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Automate recurring operational tasks.
• Strengthen security and optimize cloud costs.
• Collaborate with security teams and platform engineers.
• Evaluate new DevOps and platform technologies.
