GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced AWS-focused DevOps/Cloud Engineer to own the infrastructure and delivery pipelines for a PCI-regulated payments platform. You will design, implement, and operate across dev, QA, staging, and production environments using IaC, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

Formación

• Must have AWS depth: VPC and networking, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS/Aurora, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation, with modular, reviewed, version-controlled patterns.
• CI/CD: ownership of pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins – including quality gates and automated deployment.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS in production.
• Scripting: Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation.
• Monitoring and observability: Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK or CloudWatch – including dashboard and alert design.
• Linux administration and solid networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Git-based workflows, branching strategy, code review discipline.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to work directly with US-based client stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and operate AWS infrastructure across multi-account environments (dev / QA / staging / production) using Infrastructure as Code.
• Own CI/CD pipelines end to end – build, test gating, artifact management, blue/green and canary release patterns, automated rollback.
• Containerise and operate services on ECS/EKS, including scaling policies, service mesh configuration and cluster upgrades with zero customer impact.
• Implement observability that catches problems before merchants do: metrics, structured logging, distributed tracing, actionable alerting and SLO definition.
• Harden the platform for PCI-DSS: network segmentation, secrets management, key rotation, least-privilege IAM, encryption in transit and at rest, and audit-ready evidence.
• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery – backup strategy, RTO/RPO validation, failover runbooks and periodic recovery drills.
• Drive cost optimisation (FinOps): right-sizing, savings plans, storage lifecycle policies and per-stream cost visibility.
• Automate away toil – no manual production changes; everything through code and pipelines.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, lead incident response, and write blameless postmortems with tracked corrective actions.
• Partner with product engineering, QA and security teams to shift reliability and compliance left into the development lifecycle.
