EPAM Systems in Argentina seeks a Senior Automation Quality Engineer to define and execute a comprehensive AQA strategy across 16 mobile apps and a CMS. You will lead automated tests for iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin), and web interfaces using ReactJS, TypeScript, and AWS services.

Bring at least 3 years of hands-on automation experience, strong knowledge of Appium, Playwright, and WebdriverIO, and excellent English communication. This role offers international projects and growth opportunities.

We are looking for a Senior Automation Quality Engineer to join our team. The Automation Quality Engineer will define, document, and execute the Automation Quality Assurance (AQA) strategy across about 16 mobile applications built from a shared codebase and the supporting Content Management Solution (CMS) used to deliver digital experiences for client-promoted festivals and concert events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test coverage for mobile applications across both iOS (using Swift) and Android (using Kotlin) platforms
• Develop automated testing for the CMS web interface, built on a ReactJS, TypeScript, and AWS technology stack
• Create automated API tests for the solution's backend, which relies on Rest API, Postman, Swagger, and AWS API Gateway technologies
• Establish and maintain automated regression test suites covering both the mobile applications and the CMS platform
• Design automated smoke tests to confirm successful production deployments and verify critical user journeys across mobile apps and the CMS

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on relevant experience
• Practical experience with Appium for automating mobile application testing
• Hands-on skill with Playwright for automated web testing
• Solid background in regression testing to ensure stability across application releases
• Experience developing test strategy to guide quality assurance efforts
• Proficiency in TypeScript for building automated test scripts
• Working knowledge of WebdriverIO for browser and application automation
• Decent communication skills with working English fluency (B2 level or higher) to understand business requirements and translate them into agentic architectures

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python for scripting and test automation purposes
• Experience working with REST API for backend testing and validation
