AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to build regression tests and automate validation across our software stack. You will execute diverse testing types, document behavior, and raise quality risks during the SDLC and releases.

Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback, and contribute to planning and on-call rotations. A strong background in automated testing frameworks and Gherkin is required.

Formación

• 3+ years of software QA experience required.
• 3+ years in automated testing required.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and Harness engineering.
• Agentic quality engineering mindset and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration and performance tests.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Record pass/fail criteria and correlate with bugs.
• Identify risks to product quality and process.

ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• - Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• - Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• - Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• - Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• - Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• - Identify and elevate risk to quality of the product or the process.
• - Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• - Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• - Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• - Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• - Participate in On-Call rotation.

MUST HAVES

• - 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• - 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• - Possess a mindset focused on holistic quality.
• - Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• - Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• - Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

NICE TO HAVES

• - Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Postman, JMeter or any other object-oriented based automated testing framework.
• - Experience with testing support functionalities such as GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, PagerDuty.
• - Proficiency in SQL.
• - Experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development.
• - Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
• - Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
• - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience.
