Proofpoint is seeking a semi-senior QA Software Engineer in Córdoba, Argentina. The role focuses on QA for the Hotels product with exploratory testing, API validation, and AI-assisted quality engineering.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality across web and mobile features while evolving automation and AI-driven testing practices. You will test REST APIs, investigate defects, and contribute to automation with Playwright, Postman, and GitHub workflows.

Formación

• 5+ years in Software QA for web/mobile apps.
• API testing using Postman; understand HTTP/REST.
• Ability to run and modify automated tests with some guidance.
• Hands-on use of generative AI in testing and task automation.
• Strong written and spoken English; good collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute functional, exploratory, integration, and regression tests for web and mobile apps.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to clarify requirements and edge cases.
• Test REST APIs and backend behavior; investigate issues using developer tools and logs.
• Participate in cross-team end-to-end testing and assist with automation tasks.
• Build regression automation scripts and maintain test repos in GitHub.
