Proofpoint in Cordoba, Argentina is seeking a Semi-Senior QA Software Engineer to advance testing across Hotels and related platforms. The role emphasizes exploratory testing, API validation, and AI-assisted quality engineering, with opportunities to expand into frontend automation and cross‑team testing.

The candidate should have hands-on testing experience, strong English communication, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior‑driven development (nice to have).
• Experience with prompt engineering and agent‑based testing (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
