Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Associate - Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (L2) to identify vulnerabilities, monitor threats and protect client systems across geographies. You will work with global teams within Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services to deliver cybersecurity solutions.

You will analyze complex issues, manage workstreams, mentor juniors, and build client relationships while applying security frameworks and data protection practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 4 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events, alerts, and incidents across client environments; identify unusual activity and elevate findings.
• Investigate potential threats by analyzing logs, indicators of compromise, and endpoint data from security tooling.
• Support incident response activities by gathering evidence, documenting actions, and tracking remediation steps.
• Tune detection content and review alert logic to reduce false positives and improve signal quality.
• Prepare clear case notes, incident summaries, and status updates for client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Apply cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and control requirements to routine operational reviews and assessments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve vulnerabilities and strengthen monitoring coverage.
• Guide junior team members through operational tasks and peer review of work.
• Emphasize Information Security and Data Protection in decisions.
