GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced QA engineer to own end-to-end testing for an FDA-regulated Android app in diabetes care. You will design risk-based tests, automate critical user flows, and release high-quality software for global markets in collaboration with Android developers, QA, Product, and Regulatory teams.

You will bring 5+ years in software testing (mobile), 2+ years on Android, and strong Python automation skills.

Formación

• 5+ years in software testing, including mobile.
• 2+ years focused on Android.
• Good knowledge of testing methodology, test development, and test execution.
• Strong software skills in Python, with ability to create and maintain automated tests.
• Hands-on Android environment setup: Android Studio/SDK, emulators/devices, adb, Gradle.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git; ability to configure and run jobs in Jenkins/Bamboo.
• Experience with test management and traceability in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with medical software regulations and standards (IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA) and creating verification evidence.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end testing for an FDA-regulated Android application in diabetes care.
• Design risk-based tests, automate critical user flows, and ship compliant releases for global markets.
• Collaborate with Android developers, QA, Product, and Regulatory as a senior individual contributor.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test suites using the internal framework.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test reports; define entry/exit and gating criteria for releases.
• Build, stabilize, and monitor regression and smoke suites; ensure green builds and rapid failure isolation.
• Configure and run automation in existing CI pipelines; investigate failures and triage defects with logs and artifacts.
• Analyze requirements and influence design for testability; ensure end-to-end traceability and compliance evidence.
