Niche in Argentina is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Data Engineering team. You’ll architect, build, and scale enterprise data models, translating complex raw data into clean, business-ready datasets for analysts, data scientists, and executives.

You will lead the design of modular dbt models, semantic layers, and BI views for consumption by business users, while ensuring data accuracy, governance, and warehouse performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or enterprise data modeling.
• Proven track record of architecting, deploying, and maintaining production-grade data transformation workflows and enterprise semantic models.
• Expertise in dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Kimball) and dbt for standardizing metrics across orgs.
• Experience modeling complex domains (Salesforce, GA, ad platforms) and unstructured data for BI.
• Strong software engineering background with CI/CD, modular architecture, and documentation.
• Advanced SQL, dbt (macros/packages/perf tuning), Snowflake, Python, Git, Looker/Tableau.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business strategy into analytics architecture.
• Architect and maintain Kimball dimensional models and enterprise warehouse transformation logic.
• Design and govern data models powering the semantic layer for AI/ML and self-service analytics.
• Establish data quality, automated testing, lineage tracking, cost optimization, and alerting across dbt pipelines.
• Refactor legacy logic and standardize analyst workflows into modular semantic pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive governance, metric standardization, and secure access controls.
