DEPT® is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape our data strategy. You will transform raw data into high‑quality, self‑serve artifacts, bridging engineering and business insights to keep our data ecosystem scalable, trustworthy, and actionable.

You will design data models with dbt and SQL; collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales and Finance to define requirements and deliver data solutions. Our Buenos Aires presence supports a pragmatic, impact‑driven team.

Formación

• Design and build flexible, trustworthy data models using dbt and SQL.
• Work with Product, Marketing, Sales and Finance to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Lead discovery on data tools and infrastructure; design schemas and pipelines; QA best practices.
• Build semantic layers and documentation for self-service analytics.
• Identify design flaws in data models and implement fixes; manage ETL/ELT, data governance, and performance.
• Research solutions independently and know when to ask for help.
• Translate complex business questions into technical specs and present to non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in system design and advise on data risks and dependencies.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable data models with dbt/SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Lead data-tool discovery and establish robust data pipelines and schemas.
• Develop semantic layers and documentation to enable self-service analytics.
• Identify and fix data model issues; oversee ETL/ELT and governance.
