Dialpad is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build the shared AI/ML platform for training through production inference. You will run GPU training infrastructure, model evaluation tooling, and production inference on NVIDIA GPUs in GCP.

Formación

• Seven or more years of professional software engineering in backend, infrastructure, distributed, or ML platform systems.
• Experience building or operating systems that support model training, inference, or lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or other backend languages with production-grade software experience.
• Hands-on Linux, containers, Kubernetes, cloud infra, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
• Experience with GPU workloads, performance tuning, and scalable ML platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with applied scientists on production ML systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and improve shared platform capabilities for training, evaluation, release, and production inference.
• Operate GPU training infrastructure with reliable, reproducible environments for model development.
• Improve scheduling, isolation, capacity, storage, networking, observability, and accelerator utilization.
• Develop production-serving paths for low-latency, high-throughput inference workloads.
• Integrate model-training frameworks and runtimes to meet automation and observability needs.
• Lead technical projects from design through production operation and mentor engineers.
• Strengthen telemetry, diagnostics, dashboards, and alerting across training and production.
• Collaborate with ASR/NLP scientists on reproducibility, evaluation, and release safety.
