Job summary

AgileEngine in Argentina is seeking a senior backend engineer to architect and develop scalable services using NestJS and PostgreSQL. You will drive complex financial workflows, design robust APIs, and optimize data models while mentoring peers.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required as the team communicates primarily in Spanish. The role focuses on cloud-based infrastructure in AWS and collaboration with frontend, product, and design teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Node.js development experience.
• Extensive experience with NestJS framework.
• 6+ years of professional experience with PostgreSQL and relational design.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (must).
• Proven track record designing scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Strong RESTful API design and implementation.
• Expertise in database optimization and performance tuning.
