Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to design and operate the data foundation powering our AI systems. You will own the movement, modeling, and quality of data from source systems through the warehouse into retrieval and feature layers for LLM pipelines and analytics.

Formación

• 5-10+ years in software or data engineering, with production data platform work.
• Data warehousing: Kimball dimensional modeling with grain, relations, and schema evolution considerations.
• SQL: expert-level with window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning on columnar warehouses.
• Python: expert-level production-grade with typing, packaging, and testing.
• Design: SOLID and domain-driven design applied in real systems.
• Orchestration: Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or equivalent, in production.
• Cloud: expert-level on AWS, Azure, or GCP — storage, compute, IAM, networking, and cost management.
• Platform: containerization, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), and CI/CD.
• Experience with lakehouse formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi) and maintenance like compaction, snapshot expiry, and evolution.
• Preferred: data layer for production RAG systems, hybrid search, and index freshness.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate closely with AI/ML Data Scientists on data strategy and retrieval.
• Treat pipelines as versioned, tested software with observability and governance.
