You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective AI strategies, enabling cutting-edge results from anywhere in SA region.

Competenze

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AI and machine learning systems.
• Deep understanding of AI domains including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
• Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable and robust artificial intelligence solutions. In this fully remote role, you will define the technical vision for AI initiatives, oversee the architecture of AI systems, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our AI strategies align with business goals and leverage the latest advancements in the field. This is a pivotal opportunity for a seasoned architect to drive innovation and shape the future of AI at our client's organization, working from anywhere within South Africa but ideally with a connection to Sandton 's vibrant tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
