Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to build secure enterprise applications and agentic workflows that connect AI agents to enterprise data and tools.

You will design and implement React/TypeScript and Python services, develop MCP-based integrations, and ensure robust authentication, monitoring, and audit trails.

This role offers flexible scheduling, remote/office options, and opportunities to work on Fortune 500-scale projects with privacy and governance considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/Software Eng or STEM with advanced degree.
• 5+ years software development experience.
• 5+ years with Python/JS/TS.
• Strong React, API development, architecture, testing, CI/CD.
• Experience with AI-assisted apps and tool-calling.
• Experience with MCP, structured outputs, context management.
• Experience with auth, RBAC, secure coding.
• Full lifecycle from requirements to production support.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop secure enterprise applications (React, TypeScript, Python, API services).
• Build agentic workflows and MCP-based integrations connecting AI applications to enterprise data/tools.
• Implement structured outputs, workflow state management, human-approval steps, and error recovery.
• Build authentication, authorization, RBAC, and audit logging.
• Implement AI evaluation, guardrails, tracing, and monitoring (quality/safety/performance/cost).
• Partner with domain experts and PMs to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Design reusable, configuration-driven components for cross-team use.
• Own production-quality code, tests, and documentation.
• Mentor other engineers; guide technical direction across teams.
