Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Security Systems Installer to join our dedicated team in Sandton. This hands-on role focuses on the installation and configuration of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems for commercial and residential clients.

You will read plans, run cables, test systems, and train clients on usage while maintaining high safety and quality standards. A proven track record in electronic security installation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Security Systems Installer.
Knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems and related hardware.
Proficiency in cable termination, testing and troubleshooting electronic security systems.
Ability to work independently and manage installation schedules.
Valid driver's license and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

Install and configure CCTV cameras, access control readers, alarm panels, and sensors.
Run and terminate cables, ensuring neat and compliant wiring practices.
Test installed systems thoroughly for full functionality and integration.
Diagnose and troubleshoot installation‑related issues with effective solutions.
Read site plans, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installations.
Provide basic system training and support to clients after installations.
