Job summary

Amentum seeks a Security Guard to support the AUTEC project on Andros Island, Bahamas. You will guard facilities, control visitor and vehicle access, and help safeguard staff, visitors, and government assets on the AUTEC site. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.

US citizenship is required for clearance. Duties include inspections, maintaining logs, reporting incidents to Navy Security Forces, and performing security checks; work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in a Security environment.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, driving and climbing for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a physical examination.
• Must reside in a remote work location with limited medical facilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and passport.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Provides and controls vehicle and pedestrian access to facilities and ensures compliance with visitor regulations.
• Inspects and controls access of materials into facilities.
• Conducts security checks of assigned facilities and areas.
• Completes compliance and safety inspections according to policies and procedures.
• Maintains logs.
• Detects security incidents and reports them to Navy Security Forces for investigation and action.
• Follows all security rules and regulations.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for no less than 5 days.
