SAP SE invites university students to join the SAP Internship Experience Program in Finance Operations within GFS General Accounting Cash & Bank. This paid internship offers hands-on accounting exposure, daily operations support, and development opportunities across regional projects.

You’ll work as primary and backup support for countries in the Americas, contributing to month-end procedures, reconciliations, and process improvements while developing in a global, tech-forward environment.

• Current student of Accounting or Business, preferably graduating in December 2028 or onwards.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Additional language competency would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Adaptability to Technology: Willingness and ability to adapt to and utilize technological advancements, such as Artificial Intelligence.
• Aptitude for repetitive transactional system tasks and ability to work in a dynamic / virtual environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work under time pressure with accuracy and commitment.
• Ability to work independently and as a team in a multi-cultural environment.
• Experience in a financial field would be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in projects and collaborate with developers during system testing.
• Contribute to SOX controls, tax audits, and internal audits when required.
• Provide backup support for multiple countries within the Americas region.

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Finance Operations

Expected Start Date: October/November 2026

Duration: 6 months, up to 18 months

As aFinance Operations Intern in GFS General Accounting Cash & Bank, you will be able to build your accounting profession as you support the daily operations of the process and apply your accounting knowledge in practice constantly. At the same time this role offers many development opportunities on other skills and competencies that will help you shape your future career path.

You’ll act as the primary and backup support role for 1 or more countries, mainly in Cash & Bank Accounting for Americas region. You’ll take care of the following tasks in particular:

• Perform general accounting tasks related to monthly, quarterly and year-end closing (period end procedures) such as General Bad Debt preparation and posting, SOX controls, Exchange rate daily update, etc.
• Provide reconciliation of reports and accounts, which includes Bank Reconciliation, and Balance Sheet account reviews etc.
• Support countries for SOX audit, statistical reporting, tax audit and external/internal audit reviews when required.
• Participate and support in projects, such as continuous improvements & standardization activities, process migrations or System Testing’s with Developers.
• Adhere to service level standards and work towards development of a service culture of ‘Excellence’
