Job summary

Concordia Hospital is seeking a Nurse 2 for the PANSU – Post Acute Neuro Surgical unit in Winnipeg. This term, in-person role supports evenings and weekends, with 0.60 FTE and shift flexibility. Base salary is shown in a stepwise range across multiple annual amounts.

The Registered Nurse provides patient care for complex health needs, leads care coordination, and collaborates with the health care team to optimize discharge planning and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Manitoba College of Registered Nurses (CRNM).
• Post-basic education may be required for certain roles or units.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional RN services for patients with complex needs.
• Lead within the health care team and coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with RHPA, PHIA and related acts; participate in performance improvement.
