Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a semi-senior engineer in Córdoba, Argentina to design, build and deploy large-scale threat detection services. You will work across the software stack on scalable components and cloud-native solutions.

You’ll join a fast-paced team applying cutting-edge technology to detect threats and protect customers across email and SaaS platforms, with a strong engineering culture and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing scalable services in Python, Java, or Go.
• Unit tests, cloud-native development (Kubernetes), RESTful APIs.
• Experience automating deployments (AWS) and test automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, malware analysis, threat detection bonus.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
