Job summary

Multilingual Interpreters and Translators is seeking a remote Spanish to English Medical Interpreter to support medical appointments and healthcare interactions. Real-time consecutive and simultaneous interpretation will be performed via phone or video, with strict confidentiality and professionalism maintained at all times.

Training will be provided for candidates with no prior experience, focusing on medical terminology, interpretation standards, and company systems.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Medical Interpretation and Medical Terminology for Spanish to English communication.
• Proficiency in Interpreting and Simultaneous Interpretation in medical settings.
• Ability to perform accurate translation between Spanish and English when required.
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards in medical environments.
• Reliable high-speed internet, quiet workspace, and comfort working with remote communication platforms.
• Prior experience in medical interpreting is preferred; training will be provided for inexperienced candidates.

Responsibilities
