Job summary

Multilingual Interpreters and Translators is seeking a full-time remote Spanish↔English Medical Interpreter. The role supports real-time medical conversations, ensuring accurate communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking clinicians.

You will perform consecutive and simultaneous interpretation via phone or video, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Training will be provided to build familiarity with medical terminology and company systems.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Medical Interpretation and Medical Terminology for Spanish ⇄ English communication.
• Proficiency in interpreting and simultaneous interpretation in medical and healthcare settings.
• Ability to perform accurate and context-appropriate translation between Spanish and English when required.
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards in medical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time language support for medical appointments, consultations, and related healthcare interactions.
• Perform consecutive and simultaneous interpretation via phone or video.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Use company-provided platforms and tools, follow established protocols, and document basic session details as needed.
• Receive training to ensure terminology familiarity and interpretation standards.
