Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a hands-on Software QA Engineer to drive automated and manual testing across our applications. The role emphasizes regression automation, rigorous validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high quality throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA and automated testing, with experience in Gherkin for BDD and familiarity with modern testing tools. This position is on-site and offers growth opportunities in a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
• Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience.
