Bluelight is expanding its team and seeks a senior backend-focused software engineer with strong Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS API experience. You will build low-latency services, work with PostgreSQL, and contribute to secure, multi-tenant environments while collaborating across full-stack tasks.

You will join a fast-paced consulting team that values ownership, continuous learning, and delivering high-quality applications for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency AWS API services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and RLS.
• Secure multi-tenant environments and schema migrations.
• Proficient in React with testing and CI/CD practices.
• Overlap US business hours and Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality backend services and APIs.
