Job summary

AWS is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to work with our largest customers in Buenos Aires, Argentina. You will help overcome security, risk, and compliance barriers while building trusted advisor relationships with CISOs, CROs and executives.

You will develop technical content, present at events, and partner with sales, solutions architecture, and product teams to accelerate secure cloud adoption and drive revenue while ensuring ongoing assurance and automated compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in an information security or compliance role.
• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Security customer-facing role, such as Cloud Security Architect or Cloud Security Consultant.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS environments and understanding of architecting on AWS.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including training, workshops, publications.
• Security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, PCI-DSS ISA or similar are valued.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to work with our largest customers. In this vital role, you will help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by identifying and tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders, as well as build and maintain CISO/CRO and executive-level relationships becoming their Security Advisor. You will work directly with customer security, audit, risk and compliance teams to help them understand how to confidently utilize AWS, identify risk and design controls, setup ongoing assurance, and establish automated compliance.

The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to customers and will work with AWS sales, business development, solutions architecture and product teams to help accelerate adoption by removing compliance and audit as barriers and suggest improvements to our services to meet the customer needs.
This position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the role requires approximately 15% travel (including international).

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in an information security or compliance role
- 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Security customer-facing role, such as Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Security Consultant, Cloud Security Technical Sales or technical sales for cloud security solutions
- Hands-on experience securing AWS environments and understanding of architecting on AWS
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including training, workshops, publications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English within business and technical settings (Verbal and Written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Security Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty Certification, CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP, or PCI-DSS ISA or similar are valued.
- Experience presenting on Security conferences
- AI Security Skills with demonstrated experience securing solutions leveraging IA.
- Experience Scaling through the creation of assets such as blogposts, articles, videos, podcasts, or engaging with technical communities
