Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fast-growing U.S. fintech company, building its Digital Wallet and AI-powered frontend. This frontend-first role emphasizes tangible features across UI/UX, performance, accessibility, and production-grade code.

You will own features end to end, collaborate with product and design, and leverage AI tools to speed development. Remote, LATAM-focused contractor role with full-time commitment and opportunities to modernize core platform

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, interaction design, and user-centered development.
• Proven track record of building polished, production-ready user interfaces.
• Experience turning designs into working applications.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs into functional, intuitive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end to end from requirements through delivery.
• Use AI-powered development tools to speed frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain Backend for Frontend (BFF) services if needed.
• Implement API integrations and supporting backend functionality when needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Find ways to simplify development workflows through AI-assisted engineering.
