Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Python/Go) focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to serve enterprise customers on a 100% remote LATAM basis. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, software engineering, and technical consulting to design scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• SQL and NoSQL databases proficiency.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Customer-facing collaboration in enterprise contexts.
• Autonomy and strong problem-solving in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including IdPs, cloud platforms, SIEMs.
• Work with customers to understand environments and data flows.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for storage and analysis.
• Build and operate Docker/Kubernetes-based containerized services.
• Deploy across AWS, Azure, GCP and troubleshoot deployments.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, and Product teams.
• Act as trusted advisor on data architecture and integration best practices.
• Identify recurring customer needs and create reusable connectors.
