Jeeves, a leading financial operating system, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our LATAM engineering team. You will design and build backend systems powering Jeeves' financial platform across the Americas and beyond, with a focus on scalable services, AI-enabled features, and secure, observable production systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Strong PostgreSQL familiarity; data modeling and performance.
• Experience with cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Ability to integrate third-party APIs with proper error handling and observability.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Comfort using AI tools in development.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for Jeeves across 20+ countries.
• Write production-grade code in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs; use gRPC and event-driven patterns.
• Design database schemas in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Implement security best practices across services.
