Job summary

Tether Operations Limited is seeking a Mobile Engineer to own Keet Mobile features for iOS and Android using React Native and Expo. You will work on a peer-to-peer chat and calling app with a focus on performance, reliability and a clean UI across platforms.

The role requires strong React Native proficiency, experience with Redux/Redux-Saga, and the ability to collaborate with a remote, global team. Prior exposure to P2P frameworks is a bonus, with a dynamic fintech environment on offer.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with React Native and Expo.
• Experience with Redux and Redux-Saga.
• Experience working with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Swift or Kotlin and native build tools is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with remote teams.
• Strong UI/UX implementation and testing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and polish features across chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device pairing and identity backup.
• Integrate push notifications, camera, biometrics and background tasks on iOS and Android.
• Profile and optimise performance on real devices, including startup time, long chats, media handling, battery and network use.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests and support releases with CI and crash reporting.
• Collaborate with core P2P, design and product teams, and review code to a high quality standard.
