Job summary

Tether Operations Limited is hiring a Mobile Engineer to build and maintain Keet Mobile, a React Native-based peer-to-peer app for iOS and Android. The role offers 100% remote work and exposure to cutting-edge fintech technologies.

You’ll work with Expo, integrate native capabilities, and collaborate with design and product teams to deliver high-quality features and robust performance.

Qualifications

Significant experience with React Native, Redux for state management and Redux-Saga.
Experience with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of native languages such as Swift and Kotlin and native build tools (Xcode/Android Studio) is advantageous.
Experience working with a remote team.
Interest in modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications.
Bonus points for P2P framework projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Keet Mobile, a peer-to-peer chat and calling app for iOS and Android.
Keet Mobile uses React Native and Expo; P2P core runs on device.
Own features end to end: UI/UX to P2P core APIs.
Build chat, voice/video, media sharing features.
Integrate push notifications, camera, biometrics, background tasks.
Profile and optimize startup time, long chats, battery, and network use.
Write unit and end-to-end tests; support CI and crash reporting.
Collaborate with P2P, design and product teams; maintain code quality.
