Tether is hiring a Mobile Engineer to own Keet Mobile, a React Native app for iOS and Android. You’ll work remotely from LATAM, collaborate with a small team, and own features end-to-end from UI to P2P core integration.

You will optimize performance on real devices, implement push notifications and storage strategies, and ensure smooth releases with CI and crash reporting. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, risk notes, and client-facing tradeoffs.

Competenze

• 4+ years building mobile applications, including React Native applications released on both the App Store and Google Play.
• Offline-first work with local storage, queued writes, retries and conflict handling.
• Strong English communication for PR descriptions and client updates.
• Experience working from written acceptance criteria and judging when merges miss them.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain Keet Mobile for iOS and Android using React Native and Expo.
• Own end-to-end features from UI implementation to P2P core integration.
• Improve startup time, memory usage and app size on low-end devices.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests and maintain CI/release stability.
