AgileEngine is seeking a QA Engineer in Cordoba, Argentina to build regression automation scripts, perform manual testing, and ensure software quality across the SDLC. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and customer-facing teams, on-call rotation, and using GitHub for automation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA, substantial automated testing experience, and proficiency with Gherkin, plus a holistic quality mindset. Flextime options include home and office work.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in a software QA role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and provide escalating any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
