Outlier is offering a remote program in Latin America for experienced software engineers to contribute to AI model training. You will review AI-generated code, rate responses on accuracy and clarity, and craft well-structured CS prompts. This freelance, 1099 role allows flexible work from anywhere in the region.

Ideal candidates hold a Computer Science degree, have production-grade software experience, and communicate fluently in English. Applicants from multiple LATAM countries are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions: develop clear prompts that challenge AI models and push the boundaries of coding ability.
