AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. The role spans frontend and backend ownership with React and Ruby on Rails, transforming wireframes into production features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Rails, Entity, Spring, or a similar MVC framework.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases (Postgres, RDS).
• 3+ years of experience with HTML/CSS for web interfaces.
• 3+ years turning wireframes into production features.
• Experience with agile development and adaptability to changing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, and proactive approach; leadership ambitions are a plus.
• Performance mindset for client-side and server-side optimization.
• Experience using Git with GitHub for source control.
• Experience in fast-moving environments with on-call rotations and documented SLAs/SLOs/RPOs/RTOs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. This role blends frontend and backend ownership across React and Ruby on Rails to turn wireframes into production features. MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of experience building web applications using Rails, Entity, Spring, or a similar MVC framework.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases (ANSI-relational, e.g., Postgres, RDS).
• 3+ years of experience using HTML and CSS and styling for the web.
• 3+ years of experience turning wireframes/mockups into features.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and willingness to embrace changing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, and proactive approach. Leadership ambitions are a plus.
• Performance mindset covering client-side and server-side optimization.
• Experience using Git for source control with GitHub.
• Experience in fast-moving environments with on-call rotations and documented SLAs/SLOs/RPOs/RTOs.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with large datasets and scalable frontend architectures considering HTTP, SQL, and memory management.
• Experience with Chart.js, Highcharts, D3, or other charting libraries.
• Semantic HTML/CSS with responsive design and performance focus.
