Job summary

Outlier is seeking QA Coders to audit AI-generated code and rate model responses. This is a freelance 1099 contract across Latin America, with flexible hours up to 40 per week and pay up to $34 USD per hour.

You’ll also write computer science questions to push the models beyond basic coding tasks and help improve AI performance. A Bachelor's degree in CS and strong English skills are preferred, with sharp attention to detail throughout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase for a technology company preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read and flag errors or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve model output.
• Write computer science questions: create clear, well-structured prompts to challenge AI models.
