Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the operations team, oversee production and quality, and ensure safe, efficient output in a lean manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical or industrial engineering background, 5–7 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/MS Project skills, with familiarity in ISO standards and welding codes (AWS/ASME).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with ISO standards desirable.
• Proven ability to manage lean manufacturing tools and KPIs.
• Strong Excel and project management tool skills (MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Direct production and quality activities on the shop floor.
• Promote safe work practices and adherence to policies.
• Plan production across work centers and optimize workflows.
• Monitor KPIs such as utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap and rework.
• Analyze and solve problems in lean manufacturing environments.
• Maintain control of statistical processes and production planning.

Role Summary:

Production Supervisors direct activities within the operations team as it relates to production and quality. These highly motivated individuals ensure efficient production while promoting and working safely within established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of CNC programming.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc).
• Statistical control of the process.
• Production planning in different work centers.
• Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework).
• Analysis for the solution of problems in lean manufacturing.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Microsoft Project or similar.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc).
• Other duties as assigned.
