Job summary

Tether Wallet is our self‑custodial wallet, designed to bring USDT and XAUT directly to users wherever they are. You will define and own the strategy for buying and swapping into USDT and XAUT across target markets, working with expansion teams to map payment landscapes and select service partners.

This role sits at the intersection of product, payments and partnerships, delivering end‑to‑end outcomes from evaluation to integration and in‑app experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in the financial industry.
• 3+ years of product management experience in DeFi or crypto.
• Good understanding of crypto wallets and DeFi features, including token swaps and on‑chain flows.
• Good understanding of global payment systems and card schemes (Visa, Mastercard).
• Hands‑on experience with fiat on‑ramp/off‑ramp or swap providers.
• Proven experience evaluating, selecting and onboarding external partners and managing performance.
• Working knowledge of KYC/AML requirements and onboarding.
• Technical ability to read partner API documentation and coordinate with engineering.
• Data‑driven with funnel KPIs to improve conversion and decisions.
• Excellent communication across time zones in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Buy & Swap Strategy for USDT and XAUT in Tether Wallet, covering fiat on‑ramps and card payments.
• Analyze target markets for payment methods, card schemes, and on‑ramp providers.
• Define partner evaluation criteria and select best on‑ramp or swap partners per market.
• Lead onboarding of partners with Legal, Compliance, and Business Development.
• Translate partner capabilities into product requirements for engineering and design.
• Design routing logic to offer the best option by country, currency, amount and availability.
• Define and track KPIs across the buy/swap funnel and manage partner performance.
